🎶 Author featured in Wake County library collection 🎶

I’m thrilled to share that my book, An Instrument for Florenda (Second Edition), has joined the JFIC Stand Alone Collection at Wake County Public Libraries—alongside beloved titles like Wonder. To be part of a collection that celebrates stories with heart and lasting impact is deeply humbling.

Florenda’s journey—from dreaming of a clarinet to finding her voice through music—is a reflection of every child who dares to believe in something bigger than their circumstances. I wrote this story to honor that spark.

As I often say: “The sounds of today are tomorrow’s inspiration.” — Tomeko Brown, Author
